24. Tips for thrifting and how to pull off cool-girl, colorful style with Valerie Metz

Attention all people who are trying to find their personal style, wish they were better at thrifting, or want to pull of bold colors but can never figure out how. Today’s episode is for you.

Today I’m joined by Valerie Metz, a former photographer turned content creator, mom of 2 and thrifted fashion goals. I’ve known Valerie now for about 7 years and she’s always been someone who inspires me creatively and is the epitome of cool. I love how Valerie plays with color and bolder looks in her fashion and always seems to be able to pull of looks that I would be nervous to try and make them look so effortless, so I wanted to have her on to share her thrifting secrets.

We covered her tips for thrifting successfully, her tips for pulling off bold colors in a more timeless way if you’re normally more of a neutrals person, and how she organizes closet sales on her own or as pop ups with brands.
