MODERN JUNGLE PATIO MAKEOVER AND DIY CHEAP BAR

Overcoming my fear of vlogging and my fear of building things and showing you how I put together this minimal-inspired jungle patio for a house of guys. All of the live plants are from Home Depot, and here are links to all the other products:

I've been posting on my Instagram story for weeks about the patio I designed recently for a group of guys. They all just moved into a new house with a great patio area but nothing to put in it, and they wanted it to become an amazing space for hosting friends and relaxing. They gave me a budget and a few preferences and then I went shopping!

We wanted something that felt modern and sort of minimal, and we knew we wanted lots of wood and plants. Since it's a house full of guys, I also wanted to be careful to stray away from my usual feminine choices for something that had hints of "man cave" weaved in.

The tall tree is a fake one from Home Goods (my go-to for discounted finds) and all the other plants are from Home Depot... I love that you can return Home Depot plants within one year, even if they're dead, so I always buy my live plants there. They usually have a really good selection too!

After we were all done, we already had ideas for updates to add when budget allows. We love the idea of a rug in the "living area" and some artwork on the walls. Perhaps I'll have a patio update for you soon!
